Financial institution consolidates Suva branches at landmark facility
Financial institution Merchant Finance has opened its new Suva City branch and also relocated its head office to the FHL Tower in Suva, an investment in enhancing customer accessibility, convenience and service delivery.
The relocation brings the institution’s branches in Suva, Flagstaff and its head office together, with a modern centrally located facility designed to improve convenience, operational efficiency and support company growth.
The new premises provide customers with easier access to the institution’s products, including personal loans, business finance, term deposits, and other financial services.
Merchant Finance chief executive officer Veilawa Rereiwasaliwa said the move reflected the company’s continued focus on putting customers first.
“Our customers are the reason we’re here, so when we made the decision to relocate, the focus was on how we could create a better experience for them,” Mr Rereiwasaliwa said.
“The new location at FHL Tower is easy to access, modern, and brings our teams together under one roof.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers in the new space and continuing to build the strong relationships that have always been at the heart of Merchant Finance,” he said.
The relocation follows the closure of its previous Suva locations on September 11, with services resuming from the new premises on September 14. Merchant Finance has also relocated its Taveuni branch to a new and accessible location at Waiyevo.
Chief operating officer Aminiasi Katuba said the move reflected their commitment to serving communities where their customers live and do business.
“At Merchant Finance, our customers are at the centre of everything we do. Relocating our Taveuni Branch to a more convenient and accessible location allows us to better serve the growing needs of our customers while continuing to provide the personalised service we are known for,” Mr Katuba said.
