Fijian Parliament: MPs reminded to prepare themselves for late night sittings

MEMBERS of Parliament have been reminded to prepare themselves for late night sittings as they debate the 2019-2020 national budget in Parliament this week.

Speaking in Parliament this morning, speaker of Parliament , Ratu Epeli Nailatikau said the budget was an integral and important part of the Parliament process.

“I hope you are prepared for the late night sittings this week,” he said.

In his speech, Ratu Epeli also welcomed students from Dayspring Christian College who were part of the sitting this morning. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed there would be no bills for consideration in today’s sitting.
