During Mr Kumar’s bilateral meeting last week with his Chinese counterpart, China has offered their facilities for Fijian athletes and officials to train for international competitions.

Mr Kumar and his delegation also visited the Li Yongbon Badminton academy in Dongguan City – known for producing Olympians in China for this sport.

The delegation also visited the Guagdong Basketball facilities.

The Guandong Basketball Center is the home of the Guandong Tigers team, which is the present champion team in the sport.
