FUNERAL preparations have begun for a 22-year-old man whose body was found near an old service station in Topline, Lautoka on Sunday.
The father of the deceased, Babu Sharma, confirmed that the family would wait on instructions from police to give them the go ahead but they were looking at tomorrow as the funeral day.
The Velovelo, Lautoka man will accompany his wife to the Lautoka Hospital today for the post-mortem examination of their only son Hasneel Sharma.
“I visited police again yesterday and they confirmed they would be able to release my son’s body later today after his post-mortem,” Mr Sharma said. “We have done preparations for his funeral as we want to give him the best funeral before he leaves us for good.”
Hasneel’s body was discovered metres away from the Good News Church where his father was attending the Sunday morning service.
Meanwhile, police investigations continue.
