Compensation paid to Energy Fiji Limited’s (EFL) key management personnel increased to $3.756 million in 2025, according to the company’s 2025 Annual Report recently tabled in Parliament.
The report shows total remuneration for the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Management Group rose from $3.309 million in 2024 to $3.756 million in 2025, an increase of $447,000, or about 13.5 per cent.
Salary, performance pay and allowances accounted for $3.445 million, up from $3.033 million the previous year.
Superannuation contributions also increased, rising from $276,000 in 2024 to $311,000 in 2025.
The report identifies the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Management Group as the company’s key management personnel responsible for planning, directing and controlling EFL’s operations.
Fatiaki Gibson was appointed Chief Executive Officer in April 2025.
The executive management team also includes Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mitsuhiro Takeshita, Chief Operating Officer Bobby Naimawi, Chief Financial Officer Semisi Tawake, General Manager Generation Epeli Malo, General Manager Customer Services Annabel Ducia, General Manager Network Jitendra V. Kumar, General Manager Human Resources Randhir Charan, General Manager System Planning and Control Naomi Baleca, General Manager Information Technology Jiten Singh, and General Manager Special Projects Krishneel Prasad.
The annual report also details changes to the EFL Board during the year.
Rokoseru Nabalarua served as Chairman, while Mitsuhiro Takeshita joined the Board in June 2025 and Toshiyuki Suzuki was appointed in September 2025.
During the year, Fatiaki Gibson resigned as a director in March 2025, while Chitoshi Fukuda resigned in August 2025 and Tsutomu Fujita stepped down in June 2025.
Director fees paid during 2025 totalled $68,250, compared with $46,542 in 2024.
