Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka joined Christian leaders and thousands of pilgrims from around the world at the Feast of Tabernacles 2025 in Jerusalem on Friday.
The annual celebration, organised by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), brings together believers from across the globe to mark one of the most significant festivals in the biblical calendar.
This year’s feast carried the theme “Glory to God”, with worshippers giving thanks and declaring their faith in God’s promises.
Mr Gavoka was among the special guest speakers at the event, where he reaffirmed Fiji’s friendship with Israel and the shared faith connections between Pacific island nations and the people of Israel.
Also attending was Manasa Kolivuso, who delivered a powerful message on the opening night, urging unity, prayer, and spiritual renewal among Christians worldwide.
The ICEJ says the Feast of Tabernacles serves as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and a celebration of peace and hope for all nations.
