Council spruces up Ba for BOG

BA Town gets a fresh makeover as the Ba Town Council steps up its beautification and clean-up campaign ahead of the 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants tournament.

With the prestigious tournament kicking off today at 4R Stadium at Govind Park, the council team has been working around the town to ensure Ba is looking its best to welcome football teams, supporters and visitors.

Kerb painting adding a fresh and vibrant appearance to the streets, while garden beautification and other town improvement works are also being carried out.

The initiative is part of the council’s preparations to create a clean, attractive and welcoming environment as Ba prepares to host thousands of football fans during the tournament.

The Extra BOG is expected to bring a significant number of visitors into Ba over the tournament period, providing an opportunity for the town to showcase its hospitality and community spirit.

The council’s efforts have also added to the growing excitement in Ba, with businesses, residents and other stakeholders preparing for the tournament.

As the football action gets ready to take centre stage at Govind Park, Ba Town is also putting on its best face.
