The case against a company involved in a controversial development on Malolo Island has been adjourned yet again as the magistrate was sick.

The matter was listed before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama at the Nadi Magistrates Court this morning.

The court clerk informed the lawyers that the case would be called in March.

Defence lawyer David Toganivalu was present in court.

The court clerk said Mr Dalituicama was on sick leave.

The matter was last called on February 4 where the State had asked for more time to respond to a motion filed by the company lawyers of Freesoul Real Estate Development Fiji PTE Limited.

The matter will be called again on March 13.
