A Nadi-based technology and marketing company has announced its latest innovation on a global booking software provider allowing users to seamlessly distribute and manage its service offerings.

Counterpoint Group – that specialises in empowering Pacific businesses with innovative technology and strategic software platforms – said Pacific operators using Nabooki’s online booking management platform could now distribute and manage services through Bókun’s extensive global distribution network.

According to the Group, this innovation now allows operators to effortlessly share their tours and activities online, through the vast network of established Online Travel Agencies like Viator (Tripadvisor), GetYourGuide, Expedia, Trip.com and Klook; and manage it all within a single interface.

This connection has also been commercially structured to remove any associated monthly subscription fees, which would be typical to establish and maintain this form of digital channel management service.

In a statement, the Counterpoint Group said the Bókun integration was focused on a modest success-based pricing model, effectively ending the era of the upfront ‘tech tax’ for local operators.

The key features of the offering include zero upfront investment to establish the Bókun integration into an operator’s existing Nabooki management platform; performance based pricing where operators only pay a nominal 0.95 per cent booking fee to Bókun; and instant market reach that allows immediate access to the Bókun marketplace.

“Running a tour business in the Pacific is hard enough without being hit by high monthly software subscriptions to attract more customers,” Counterpoint Group said in the statement.

“Our goal was to bring a solution that respects the margins of local operators, that effectively enables a wider global distribution footprint – but the only fee occurs when you get paid. It’s that simple.”

The Group stated by leveraging Nabooki’s management platform and a Bókun distribution network, it was reinforcing its commitment to bridging the digital gap between Pacific Island experiences and the global travel market.
