Four young men were chosen from more than 100 members of the Wheelbarrow Boys Association and were presented with a wheelbarrow each as part of the Rhapsody of Realities initiative by Christ Embassy Suva Central Church yesterday.

The Head of the State of Appeal’s department of the church, Navi Tuivuniwai, said the donation was only one of many initiatives they had established to assist the less fortunate in society.

“As part of our initiatives, we do things like feed the homeless, assist people affected by drugs or sex workers on our streets, buy groceries for needy families. And these free wheelbarrows for the ‘bili bara boys was one of those initiatives,” Mr Tuivuniwai said.

“In turn, the young men hand out daily devotional booklets to members of the public as Rhapsody of Realities ambassadors.”
