Fiji Bati rep Penioni Tagituimua and Nadera Panthers players Mesake Kurikitoga and Amini Siga could return for the Blues team in next month’s Vanua State of Origin second clash.

Blues coach Vula Dakuitoga said the players would boost the side’s bid in the series.

“Penioni, Mesake and Amini have recovered well from their injuries and will return to the squad when we march into camp next month,” Dakuitoga said.

After a 10-8 win during the series opener against the Western Maroons, Dakuitoga said he would make no changes to his squad.

“I have only 23 players in my squad instead of the required 25, and I don’t think there is a need to make changes to my squad as of yet.

“They did what was required of them in the first game and I am happy with that, unless there is an injury then I will act on it.”

Game two of the Vanua State of Origin will be held next month on October 17 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
