NAPOLIONI Ratu gets a chance this weekend as Fiji Airways Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has named him in his squad to feature in their title defence at the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Singapore 7s tournament.
“Napolioni is a young man who is blessed with talent,” Baber said.
“We’ve worked together a lot, and now it’s time to see how he turns that talent into international potential.”
Ratu is the only change in the squad replacing Terio Tamani.
“We know the challenge ahead of us, starting with Canada tomorrow afternoon,” Baber said.
“It’s six finals as always and one game at a time, but the boys have prepared well, they’re focussed, fit and ready to give it everything.”
Fiji meets Canada at 4.36pm today, before taking on Scotland at 8.02pm and South Africa at 11.28pm.
