LTA appoints new CEO

The Land Transport Authority of Fiji (LTA) Board has appointed Irimaia Rokosawa as acting chief executive officer as of Monday, October 4, 2021.

According to a statement by LTA, Mr Rokosawa has been with LTA since 2017 when he joined as General Manager Finance and Administration. He was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2020.

LTA Board Chairman, Mr James Sowane stated that Mr Rokosawa will lead the organization until such time the currently vacant substantive CEO role is being filled.

“Mr Rokosawa has demonstrated throughout his career with the LTA, his ability to work successfully in executive leadership roles and the Board is confident of his extensive experience to lead the Authority in the interim,” said Mr Sowane.
