Police were busy creating awareness to members of the public within Labasa Town on the importance of social distancing as they went about their daily routine today.

Officers were monitoring the spacing of people at the Fiji National Provident Fund office and other institutions like the banks.

Despite warnings from authorities for people to stay home, there was an influx of movement within the Labasa central business district today.

People continued to travel in buses without observing the distancing requirement.
