PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says when it comes to sports it doesn’t matter who you are and that everyone was in the same team.
He echoed these sentiments while officiating at the 2019 Fiji Sports Awards at the Vodafone Arena in Suva this evening.
“We are known around the world as the rugby nation,” he said.
“When it comes to sports it doesn’t matter who you are, we all are in the same team.
Mr Bainimarama highlighted that victory demanded unity togetherness and loyalty.
“You need to be the best people in the right decision.”
