PEOPLE have flocked Navua Hospital in Lobau to get vaccinated for measles.
When a team from this newspaper arrived at the hospital this morning, a tent was already set up outside with a queue of people waiting to get vaccinated.
Among them was Subash Chand of Rovodrau.
He said he was at the hospital at around 8.30am.
“It’s after 10.30am now and I am still waiting,” Mr Chand said.
“Some have been waiting here since 7am.”
Another woman who spoke on condition of anonymity said she and her children were at the hospital from 7am.
“We got vaccinated after two to three hours of waiting,” the woman said.
Questions have been sent to Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.
