CONSUMER Council of Fiji CEO Premila Kumar has resigned.

This was confirmed by the council’s chairman, Raman Dahia, who said the board accepted Mrs Kumar’s resignation today with deep regret after heading the council for the past 12 years.

He said during her time with the council, Mrs Kumar lifted the image and visibility of the council through her able and dynamic leadership.

“She has many successes to her credit as CEO and one among of the many is that she has worked with the line ministry in ensuring a new office premises, moving just few weeks ago, and decent budget from the Government to serve the Fijian consumers,” Mr Dahia said.
