YOUNG dancers aspiring to pursue a career in dance have been urged to consider joining the Conservatorium of Dance established by local dance company, VOU.

VOU director Sachiko Soro said the conservatorium was a diploma program established for aspiring dancers.

“We’ve registered with the Fiji Higher Education Commission so students can come and do a two-year diploma in dance,” she said.

She said this was part of their plans to create sustainable employment and give young artists a chance to gain employment in the arts industry.
