Rehabilitation works of schools on Koro

THERE is no confirmation now on when rehabilitation works of schools on Koro island will be completed.

According to the Australian government’s Assessment to Quality Education Program (AQEP), there has been very little to now progress in works since February.

With less than two months away from the hurricane season and six months after the second anniversary of Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston, AQEP confirms that about 85 per cent of work is completed.

When compared to February of this year, about 80 per cent of the work had been completed.
