A 55-YEAR-OLD saleswoman is $30,000 richer after she scratched the major prize at one of the lotto agencies in the capital city.
The mother of three, however, preferred to be anonymous and said once in a while, she would enter a lotto agency and would only spend about $2 on the scratch and win tickets.
She said on several occasions, she won $2 but her luck changed last week when she scratched the major winning number at the Shanton Mega Variety Lotto Agency at Mark St, Suva.
“I scratched the first ticket and saw I had won $20 but I did not see the second ticket that I had scratched and when I handed the two tickets to the cashier at the counter, she just stared at me and asked me if I saw what I had scratched.”
The winner said she was shocked to see the ticket and thanked God for blessing her with the good luck.
She plans to buy a house or build a house, invest some money for her children’s future, give to the church and help her relatives if they needed assistance.
