THE Webb Ellis Cup has finally arrived in Fiji as part of the Rugby World Cup 2019 Trophy Tour.
The trophy tour, which started at Tavarua Island on Wednesday this week, will visit a number of locations across Viti Levu, from the world-famous Sigatoka Sand Dunes to local schools, and a traditional fire-walking ceremony.
The tour will be joined by delegates from Kamaishi City, one of the 12 host cities in Japan for Rugby World Cup 2019 at the FRU headquarters tomorrow.
Fiji is the fourth country visited by the trophy.
The national team has featured in all RWC expect in 1995 where the side failed to qualify and on two occasions reached the quarter-finals (1987, 2007).
Meanwhile, The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians who will compete for the trophy next year faces former champion Australia, Wales, and Georgia are drawn in a tough pool against former RWC champion Wallabies, Six Nations champions Wales and Georgia.
The John McKee-coached side faces the Wallabies in the second RWC game on September 21.
