THE four-day competition for the the open water in Va’a, the traditional outrigger canoe paddling of the Pacific begins on today at Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort, Mulifanua at the 2019 Samoa Pacific Games.
Eighteen nations will be battling it out on this second day of the Pacific Games.
The competition will be in V1, V6 and V12 format for men and women.
The first day is V12, over the 500m distance.
