2019 Coke Games: Xavier’s Lockington breaks high jump record

A SECOND record was broken today in the senior girls high jump at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Shawntell Lockington of Xavier College won gold for her school and also broke the record that was set by Diana Maramanikaibau of Holy Cross in 2013.

Lockington jumped 1.68m to break the record of 1.65m set in 2013.

Tuliana Tinai of Jasper Williams High School settled for silver with a jump of 1.55m.

Josifini Tinaikorowaqa of Suva Grammar School won the bronze medal with a jump of 1.50m.
