MORE than $430,000 was raked in at the 2018 National Women’s Expo which concluded today (June 23).

Minister for Women Mereseini Vuniwaqa highlighted this while officially closing the three day event at the FMF Gymnasium.

Mrs Vuniwaqa said that apart from the improvement in the quality of products over the years, the figures tell us that women are producing more artefacts and were selling more in the last three days.

“The end of the National Women’s Expo means more women getting empowered, equipped with better knowledge, new experiences, more exposure, stronger ties with consumers and new found skills to go back and prepare not only for the next expo, but for a phase of change and new beginnings.”
