2018 General Elections: Voters hope for pay rise, cheaper food

WE hope the political party that forms our next Government will increase our pay and reduce food costs.

These were the sentiments shared by Matawalu Villagers, Lautoka, Nia Roko, Beauty Baleitoga and Billy Koto this afternoon.

“We want a Government that will look at us all equally and give every citizen something to look forward to,” the trio said.

“We also want good leaders who speak with respect and have a message of peace.”

About 467 people were expected to vote at Matawalu Village Community Hall.
