17 new eligible voters registered on day one in Australia

Seventeen new eligible voters were registered to vote for the 2022 General Elections at the first day of registrations conducted throughout Australia on Sunday.

The Fijian Elections Office recorded 86 engagements – 17 new eligible voters and 69 voters upgraded to the latest blue VoterCard during the registration drive .

The FEO teams were stationed at Kangaroo Point Uniting Church in Brisbane, the Fiji High Commission in Canberra and at the Swan Hill SDA Church Hall in Melbourne on Sunday and from Monday until Friday, the schedule is also attached.

Voters in Australia can register or upgrade to the latest VoterCard at any of these centers.

The teams will be returning on May 26, 2022.
