More than 11,000 plants believed to be marijuana have been uprooted during a major police drug operation in the Nasuva farming area.
Fiji Police said the plants were uprooted on October 2 during an operation involving officers from Savusavu, the Northern Division Taskforce and members of the North Police Rugby team.
Police said the owner of the farm has yet to be established.
The plants have been seized and will undergo analysis as investigations continue.
Police said drug operations were continuing around the country and urged members of the public to report suspicious activities or provide information through the 1681 hotline.
