A total of 10 political parties has so far been confirmed for the 2026 General Election.
This after the Registrar of Political Parties Ana Mataiciwa announced the official registration of One Nation under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.
In a statement, Ms Mataiciwa confirmed that the newly registered party met all legal requirements for registration under the Act.
“The party resubmitted its application on 21 May 2026, after their initial application was not approved,” Ms Mataiciwa said in a statement.
“The party is required to comply with all statutory obligations applicable to registered political parties, including the submission of relevant declarations and disclosures within the prescribed timelines.
“The approval of One Nation’s registration brings the total number of registered political parties in Fiji to ten (10).”
