FIJI Nursing Association (FNA) general secretary Salanieta Matiavi says nurses can be aggressive in primary health care and support health promotion for the local communities.
She made these comments at the Fiji Nursing Association 61st Annual General Meeting(AGM) 2018 currently taking place at the Novotel Conference Centre in Lami.
Ms Matiavi said health problems were not only limited to that of the physical being of a person, mental health was becoming a concern for our younger generation and elderly as well.
Conference theme is ‘Nurses: A vote to Lead-Health is a Human Right’.
The AGM concludes this afternoon at 5pm followed by AGM Ball Nite in aid of education assistance and scholarship fund for members.
