MISS Bula 2026 contestant Luisa Lewatu Tuimoala is stepping into the spotlight as one of 10 hopefuls vying for the crown.
Representing Relcorp, Ms Tuimoala is from Sese, Saqani, Cakaudrove, with maternal links to Viseisei, Vuda.
The 19-year-old balances her studies toward a bachelor’s degree in customs with her role as a point-of-sale operator at Tappoos Duty Free. She views the pageant as a stepping stone for personal growth.
“I chose to be a contestant so that I could gain more confidence and to inspire others in pursuing goals,” she said. Her advocacy focuses on raising awareness about drug abuse, particularly its impact on families, communities and young people in Fiji.
“I chose this topic because I believe that most of our young generation are being affected.
“I would like to advocate so young people know their worth, and for them to know there’s better opportunities out there instead of using drugs.”
If crowned, Ms Tuimoala plans to use the platform to support and empower young people through education, sport and community initiatives.
“If I were to be crowned as Miss Bula 2026, I will use this platform to empower young people or youths through education, sport, and communities.”
