Suva Primary School Netball Association president Elenoa Vadei says preparations are going according to schedule as they prepare for the upcoming Fiji Schools Finals in Nadi this week.

The association has been undergoing training sessions since their inter-primary school competition two weeks ago and is fired up to get the Fiji finals underway.

“Training has been going well and the girls in the different grades have been working hard,” she said.

The association will field three teams for all the grades from under-9 to under-14.

“We will be fielding a total of three teams for all the divisions, so we are very excited for the tournament holds.”

Vadei said they were expecting tough competition, especially from Nadi since they will be hosting the competition.

She said it was important to have these types of tournaments, especially for players in the younger grades for the development of these players who will one day be representatives of the country.
