YAT Sen Secondary School will look to continue its strong netball progress when the Central Rally gets underway today.
The school has built a growing presence in the sport, with its players developing through a program that blends basketball skills with netball training.
Coach Sikeli Tuwai says the transition has helped keep players fit while improving their understanding of the game.
Yat Sen’s Under-19 Open Boys side also enters the competition as three-time national champions, although this year’s squad faces the challenge of rebuilding after losing several experienced players.
The school will now aim to turn its preparation into another strong Central Rally campaign.
