The Fiji Meteorological Service has issued an alert for Fijians to expect severe thunderstorm in parts of the country.
The areas include Coral Coast, southern, northern, eastern and interior parts of Viti Levu, central Macuata and Cakaudrove provinces.
Fiji Met states a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the group.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.
Strong and gusty winds expected during heavy falls.
