Other fixtures will see Coastland take on Northern Bulls at Narauyaba, Nasinu meet Ovalau at Buckhurst Park, and Namosi battle Serua at Thompson.

The Royal Tea Ranadi Cup will also feature six opening round matches as women’s teams begin their push for success.

Bua will face Taveuni, Yasawa will host Vatukoula, Ra will travel to meet Northland, Coastland will battle Northern Bulls, Navosa will take on Ovalau, while Malolo will face Serua.

The second round of both competitions will be held next Tuesday, with the third round scheduled four days later as teams continue their pursuit of strong positions on the competition ladder.

Both competitions remain a key part of Fiji Rugby’s development pathway, providing opportunities for emerging players to gain valuable experience while giving provincial unions a platform to showcase their talent.

As the new season begins, teams will be aiming to lay down an early marker and build momentum towards the later stages of the competition.
