People living in Nakasi and nearby communities have been facing water cuts for two days because of a valve failure.
According to the Water Authority of Fiji, due to the valve failure, areas from the Kings Rd from Wainibuku junction right to the Rewa Bridge in Nausori would face water disruptions.
“Our teams are working on fixing the issue and we apologise for the inconvenience caused,” WAF said.
The authority also thanked the public for their patience and understanding and has urged the public to use water wisely.
Water trucks had been deployed to areas affected since Thursday morning and it continues to cart water today.
Water Authority of Fiji staff have been working overnight at the Wainibuku Junction to fix the problem.
