THE Kalabu Secondary School Under 17 rugby team created an upset defeating 2019 Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League U17 finalists Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 16-12 during the South Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby League competition at Marcelin Primary School grounds in Vatuwaqa today.

Kalabu team manager Jese Vuli said it was milestone achievement for the team and the boys were happy for bringing down one of the giants in Fiji schools rugby league.

“A great achievement, but it’s not over yet,” Vuli said.

“We still have another round to go and we will celebrate this win today and get back to the drawing board come Monday.”
