Update: 4:03PM TWO records have been broken so far in the Suva Zone I athletics meet in progress at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Elesi Nasau
of Ballantine Memorial School broke the Intermediate Girls Triple Jump record.
Nasau’s new record is 9.60 metres while the old record was 9.35 metres set by
Litia Salabogi of Basden College back in 2010.
Avish Lal
of MGM jumped 4.82 metres to break the Sub Junior Boys Long Jump record. The
old record of 4.62 metres was set last year by Misaele Moceivunisea of
Assemblies of God High School.
