The 2024 Laucala Track Classic, hosted by Laucala Bay Athletic Club in collaboration with Athletic Fiji, will take place this Saturday at the newly refurbished HFC Bank Stadium.
Athletic Fiji Admin Eugene Vollmer emphasized that this competition marks a shift towards various athletics clubs organizing their own events, providing more opportunities for athletes to compete regularly.
The event will proceed regardless of the weather conditions, thanks to the all-weather track at the stadium.
Events including the 3000m, triple jump (Girls & Women only), long jump, high jump, 50m, 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races.
