SWIRE Shipping Fijian Drua hooker Zuriel Togiatama is on the cusp of a significant milestone — making his 50th Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific appearance when the Drua face the Queensland Reds at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane this Friday, round 16 of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby season.
Togiatama joins an elite group, becoming only the sixth player in the club’s history to reach this landmark.
Having scored his first-ever Super Rugby try in last week’s 49th appearance, adding another to his tally this weekend would make his 50th cap truly unforgettable.
The starting XV features a powerful front row with Meli Tuni (1) at loosehead prop, Samuela Tawake (3) at tighthead, and Togiatama (2) at hooker, forming a formidable trio up front.
In the engine room, hard-hitting Isoa Nasilasila will lock alongside captain Temo Mayanavanua, completing a solid tight five. The loose trio promises dynamism and aggression, with Vilive Miramira at blindside, Kitione Salawa at openside, and Elia Canakaivata at number eight ready to ignite the battle upfront.
At half-back, Issak Fines Leleiwasa retains his spot and will link with Kemu Valetini to drive the backline attack and defence. The midfield combination of the electric Sikeli Rabitu and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre aims to control and dominate the inside channels.
On the wings, Taniela Raukuro holds the left flank, with Manasa Mataele on the right wing, while Isaia Armstrong-Ravula completes the starting team at fullback.
For their final match of the season, head coach Glen Jackson has opted for a six-two bench split, focusing heavily on the forwards to counter the confident Reds at Suncorp. Front-row cover comes from Sairusi Ravudi, Peni Ravai, and Mesake Doge.
Joseva Tamani provides flexibility across locks and flankers, while Etonia Waqa and Isoa Tuwai are ready to bolster the loose forwards.
In the backline, the impact players named are Simione Kuruvoli and the seasoned Virimi Vakatawa, poised to make a difference when called upon.
Tomorrow’s encounter promises to be a thrilling showdown as the Drua chase victory to conclude their season on a high and celebrate Togiatama’s landmark appearance in style.
