THE fifth day of the National Easter Cricket tournament brought favourable weather conditions, setting the stage for teams to secure their spots in the semi-finals and finals on Monday.

Tournament director Joeli Mateyawa expressed satisfaction with the competition, noting the improving skill levels of the teams.

“We have come to the fifth day of competition everything seems good a lot of teams have put a lot of interest in playing the skills levels has improved this year,” said Mateyawa.

“Few teams have been doing well in the competition, such as Kabara, Namuka, and Komo team has improved their competition this year.

“As the competition heats up, these teams are strong contenders for the semi-finals and finals.

“The weather cooperated on the fifth day of the tournament, allowing for the games to be played smoothly.

“A good turnout of families and supporters added to the atmosphere, motivating the players to do their best on the field.”

“Looking forward for the final day and hoping to all the fans and supporters to turn up in numbers and support your teams.”
