A fallen tree along the Kings Highway near Nailega Village in Tailevu has been cleared this morning.
According to villager, Josaia Tabuaduadua said the tree was uprooted by strong winds at around 5pm yesterday, and it damaged powerlines.
He said works to clear the debris started around midnight.
This morning, he said staff from the Ministry of Forestry were on the ground clearing the debris to ease the follow of traffic.
