THE FIJI Water Flying Fijians will walk into Saturday’s Pacific Nations Cup (PNC) final knowing Japan will have a plan to break them — but Fiji now have a player who knows exactly how the hosts operate.
Seta Tamanivalu’s late inclusion as injury cover for Kalaveti Ravouvou has added more than midfield muscle to the Flying Fijians.
Tamanivalu last featured for the Flying Fijians in the PNC last year against Canada where he sustained an injury early in the match.

Half-back Sam Wye said Fiji know the challenge ahead.
“We know what Japan are capable of,” Wye said.
After reaching a third consecutive final following their 45-29 victory over Canada, Fiji will need to bring a different level of intensity against a Japanese side that can punish any lapse in concentration.

“We’re excited to be in our third consecutive final and hopefully we can finish the tournament strongly this week,” Wye said.
