When you think about Yoga, most people don’t really think about surfing, but surprisingly they match!

Yoga complements surfing perfectly as it builds strength, flexibility and balance.

When you surf you need to be focused and peaceful with yourself that is why yoga can help.

Yoga is the best training before surfing, but if you don’t want to feel your body after the session you need to practice yoga after surfing for stretching you out.

If you look at every successful athlete / surfer they use yoga as part of their training for many obvious reasons.

The good news for surfers is doing yoga can improve your flexibility and mobility. Incorporating some easy yoga moves into your weekly routine is a good place to start.

In fact, several studies have found that yoga can help older surfers maintain their mobility and balance.
