STC Harold: Power outage in Central and Western divisions caused by fallen poles

The unplanned power outage in parts of the Central Division and the Western Division is caused by fallen power poles and broken power lines as a result of the current weather situation affecting the Fiji group.

Energy Fiji Limited said their teams were working to rectify the issue and restore power to the affected areas at the earliest, weather permitting.

Areas affected in the Central Division include Pacific Harbour, Navua, Naboro, Lami, Delainavesi, lower Wailoku, Wailada, Walu Bay, parts of Suva City, Nasese, Samabula, Nasinu, Laucala Beach, Caubati, Kinoya, Cunningham, Nakasi, Koronivia, Davuilevu, Dilkusha, Waila, Sawani, Colo-i-Suva, Nausori, Vunidawa, Korovou, Deepwater, Laselvu, Rewasau.

In the Western Division, areas affected include Rakiraki, Volivoli, Tavua, Nadarivatu, Balevuto, Ba Town, Yalalevu, Koronubu, Lovu, Drasa, Waiyavi, Navutu, Natabua, Drasa Avenue, Field 40, Saweni, Vuda, Saru, Narewa, Votualevu, Namaka, Nadi Back Road, Martintar, Nawai, Navakai, Legalega, Denarau, Maro, Momi, Nawaicoba, Natadola, Sigatoka Town, Yanuca, Naviti, Korolevu.
