APPLICATIONS are now officially open for the SPX Annual Awards 2025, an event designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding annual reports and reporting practices across Fiji.
Scheduled for December 3, 2025 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, the SPX Annual Awards, organised by the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX), will bring together leading representatives from Fiji’s public and private sectors including listed companies, large private enterprises and state-owned enterprises.
Chair of the Awards Evaluation Committee and independent director at the SPX board Lorraine Seeto said for companies seeking to demonstrate the quality and impact of their reporting, this was a timely and prestigious opportunity to stand out.
“The Awards serve not only to recognise excellence but also to help organisations reflect on their current reporting practices and identify areas for improvement,” Ms Seeto said.
“We see this as both a celebration and a learning platform.”
According to SPX, the Awards are structured to provide distinct pathways for participation by both listed and unlisted entities.
Listed companies may apply under Overall Annual Report of the Year, Excellence in Presentation & Content, Excellence in Reporting & Disclosure, and Best Management Commentary.
Private firms and state-owned enterprises producing annual reports may apply under Annual Report of the Year, Excellence in Presentation & Content, and Excellence in Reporting & Disclosure.
In addition, two Best Practice Awards, Excellence in Gender Reporting and Excellence in ESG Coverage are open to all organisations, recognising leadership in these key emerging areas of disclosure.
