Snedeker wins Fiji International golf tournament

Update: 3:34PM WORLD number 23, Brandt Snedeker won the 2016 Fiji International golf tournament at the Natadola Bay Championship Course this afternoon.

The player from the United States was in stunning form after the second round and blew the field apart to win by a massive nine shots.

He carded rounds of 69, 65, 70 and 68 to total 16 under par 272 and pocket the first prize of F$391,000 (A$250,000).

Michael Hendry of New Zealand came in second with seven under par 281 while Brad Shilton (New Zealand), Andrew Evans (Australia), Matthew Giles (Australia), and Anthony Houston (Australia) finished third with six under par 282.

Fiji’s Vijay Singh has finished the 72 holes competition scoring two under par 286 while Natadola pro Sam Lee carded one over par 289.
