Six Ministry of Health officials remain missing in the Lau Group after the vessel they were travelling in failed to arrive at its destination during an official outreach mission, triggering a major multi-agency search and rescue operation.
Search teams have intensified efforts by sea as authorities work to trace the missing group after their vessel reportedly developed engine problems.
The Republic of Fiji Navy has also called on mariners and coastal communities to assist by reporting any sightings.
