Retaining the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone title holds a lot of significance for Ratu Kadavulevu School.
The school is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and they want to do so with victories from the zone and hoping to also include the Coca-Cola Games boys title.
RKS won 20 gold, 26 silver and 16 bronze to finish first overall in the boys division.
“It means a lot for us because the Old Boys demand a lot from us, the parents want the best from us and we are very thankful that we have a heart of warriors with our upcoming pool of students,” vice principal Sailosi Koroibola shared.
With the zone title in the bag, they now set their eyes on the Fiji Finals.
“RKS does not only come in to participate, they are from the City of men, they always come in to prove their worth and we are going to do our best,” Koroibola added.
Second placed QVS bagged 19 gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze medals.
Tailevu North was third with four gold, seven silver and 10 bronze medals In the girls division, Tailevu North College also defended its title with 22 gold, 25 solver and 12 bronze.
St Vincent came in second with 11 gold, 13 silver and 17 bronze while Dawasamu Secondary School settled for third place with seven gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze medals.
