GLOBAL shipping provider Swire Shipping has extended its partnership with the Fijian Drua.
The partnership, which includes holding the naming rights of the men’s side and sponsoring the McDonald’s Fiji Drua Women, marks a continuation of the shipping provider’s backing of the club.
Fijian Drua CEO Jeff Miller lauded Swire Shipping for its continued commitment to the club.
“Swire Shipping has been with us on this journey since day one, and their continued support is a tremendous endorsement of what this Club represents — not just in rugby, but in bringing pride, passion and inspiration to the people of Fiji,” said Miller.
“This partnership has grown into far more than a sponsorship. Swire Shipping and the Fijian Drua brands are now synonymous, and they are a crucial part of the Drua Vuvale, which includes both the men’s and women’s teams.

As naming rights of the men’s team, Swire Shipping is featured prominently on the front of the players’ jerseys for the Drua men and women’s teams.
The club stated their partnership has elevated the profile of Fijian rugby on the world stage which were similar sentiments shared by Swire Shipping’s general manager Pacific Alex Pattinson.
