Road works to ensure safer travel

The Fiji Roads Authority has issued a public advisory regarding upcoming asphalt resurfacing works along sections of Queens Road in Nadi.

Commencing from Saturday, March 30, and concluding on Monday, April 1, these works aim to enhance road quality and ensure safer travel for commuters.

Key details of the resurfacing schedule include:

Saturday 10pm to Sunday 6am: Resurfacing between Masi Road Junction and Nadi Temple Roundabout.

Sunday 10pm to Monday 6am: Resurfacing between Transville Road Junction and Votualevu Roundabout.

Monday 9am to Monday 4pm: Resurfacing between Nasoso Road Junction and Kabani Road Junction.

The authority says that to facilitate these works, manual traffic control measures and lane reductions will be implemented.

Motorists are urged to exercise patience, adhere to all traffic signage and follow directions provided by authorities.

The authority emphasises the importance of cooperation from the public to ensure smooth execution of these essential road maintenance activities.
